Manchester City capitalised on Arsenal's Saturday defeat to Bournemouth with a win at Chelsea to ignite the title race, meanwhile at the wrong end of the table things have somehow got worse for struggling Spurs
Arsenal 4/61.67 in Premier League title race with City 11/102.11
Having come close but fallen late on in the last two title battles, are Arsenal wobbling in their pursuit of the 2025/26 top-flight title? Bournemouth are a tricky challenge for any Premier League team but a title chasing side should arguably be able to get past the south coast side's challenge.
However, to put it plainly the Gunners struggled in Saturday's early kickoff. They were never ahead in the fixture, twice conceding to the Cherries including the key third goal in the game to go down to a shock 2-1 home defeat.
That loss gave Manchester City a way back into the title race - if they win all their remaining games and overturn a -6 goal difference, Pep's side will lift the Premier League trophy.
And on the evidence they are up to the challenge - after a goalless first-half, City won 3-0 at Chelsea today to round out the Sunday fixtures in the Premier League.
The latest betting from the Betfair Sportsbook has Arsenal at 4/61.67 and Manchester City 11/102.11.
It looked like we wouldn't get one but now we have ourselves a title race!
Spurs slide ever closer to relegation - Tottenham odds-on to go down
Spurs' dismal season edged closer to a first relegation in nearly 50 years with a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland. The game marked Roberto de Zerbi's debut as Tottenham manager but the Italian failed to change the team's fortunes around, the Lilywhites going down in limp fashion.
That result leaves Spurs in the bottom three and two points from the safety of West Ham in 17th.
Betfair traders make Tottenham the shortest price of the four teams threatened with the drop - Spurs now just 17/201.85 to go down at the end of the season.
West Ham, 4-0 winners over Wolves on Friday night, are next at 7/42.75 with Nottingham Forest and Leeds, one point ahead of the Hammers, at 6/17.00 and 13/27.50.
While Spurs were going down at the Stadium of Light, Forest were securing a point from a home clash with Aston Villa.
Leeds are at Old Trafford on Monday night in a huge clash for their top-flight hopes. You can read Mike Norman's match preview here.
