Tottenham v Arsenal: Gunners backed to beat Spurs in top four race

Bettors make Arsenal a shorter price than Tottenham to finish in the Premier League top four, as the teams prepare to meet in Sunday's north London derby.

Spurs 2.427/5 are favourites to win this weekend's clash. Arsenal 3.3512/5 are facing absences due to Covid which could potentially mean the game is postponed. At the time of writing (14:30 on Friday), however, it's going ahead.

A top four finish would be a fantastic achievement for both clubs and there is very little between them with Arsenal 3.1511/5 on the Exchange and Spurs 3.211/5.

With Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all a shoo-in for the top three, it will be left to a clutch of clubs - includuing West Ham, Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United - to fight it out for fourth.

North London rivals making steady progress

Arsenal drifted to 16.015/1 for a top four finish earlier this season but an impressive five match winning run, which came to an end against Man City and was followed by defeat to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, boosted their chances of a Champions League spot.

Sunday's match will be Antonio Conte's first north London derby.

His Tottenham team were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Chelsea in midweek but, on the whole, appear to be moving in the right direction under the Italian who took over as manager in November.

Before his arrival, they were 12/1 to finish in the top four as their season began to unravel under previous manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Now they're sixth in the table and yet to lose under Conte in the Premier League.
