Cody Gakpo was the best player in red last weekend in the North-East and the Dutch attacker has form for starting seasons strongly. Last time out, he began with three goals involvements in two and the 27-year-old should be backed to add to his belting goal against Newcastle. All told, he took on six shots, the most of any player across the Premier League's opening weekend.

Forest may have won for two seasons running at Anfield but they underwhelmed last Saturday, registering just one shot on target from open play. They came off second-best in the ground duels too, a clear sign that they're missing Elliott Anderson.

Almost to a man Spurs were shocking at the Gtech, their midfield in particular disjointed and wasteful in possession. Sandro Tonali alone lost possession on ten occasions and if Roberto De Zerbi's expensively-assembled side give the ball away so cheaply again here, another punishing 90 minutes awaits.

That's because Newcastle were surprisingly and impressively vibrant in their opener against Liverpool, just seconds away from securing a victory after laying traps all afternoon, then exploding into life, with Anthony Elanga especially penetrating.

But for a missed penalty, Tottenham would have lost by four last Saturday. They will surely improve but to what degree?
