Promoted Coventry will begin their bid to the stayin the Premier League with a trip to champions Arsenal on the first Friday night of the 2026/27 season.
The Gunners, who are 6/42.50 to retain their title, welcome the Sky Blues to north London on 21 August in the season curtainraiser.
Promoted Hull City will host Manchester United on Saturday 22 while the other club to come from the EFL Championship, Ipswich, welcome Sunderland the same day.
All three promoted sides face a tough task to stay in the top flight, as the odds indicate, with Coventry 8/131.61, Hull 1/41.25 and Ipswich 4/61.67 for relegation.
Last season Sunderland and Leeds managed to avoid the drop in their first season in the Premier League.
Maresca and Iraola start with tough trips
Three big clubs begin life under new management.
Manchester City start the post-Pep Guardiola era under Enzo Maresca with a trip to Bournemouth on Sunday 23 August.
The Cherries will also have a new boss at the helm in Marco Rose but it is Maresca who will command the most attention as City step out for the first time in a decade without Guardiola on the touchline.
Andoni Iraola left Bournemouth at the end of last season and has taken over at Liverpool following the surprise sacking of Arne Slot.
The Spaniard has got a potentially tough first assignment as Reds boss when Liverpool go to Newcastle, also on Sunday 23.
He is making the step up after impressing in his three seasons in charge of the Cherries. Slot won the Premier League in his first season as Reds boss but the Anfield board dismissed him after the team finished fifth last season.
Liverpool are 6/17.00 to be champions in 2026/27 while Man City are 5/23.50.
The following day, Xabi Alonso's first match as Chelsea manager will involve a short journey to Fulham for a west London derby.
The Blues are hoping for more stability in 2026/27 than they were capable of last season when they sacked both Maresca and his replacement Liam Rosenoir.
Alonso arrives at Stamford Bridge after a chastening and shortlived reign at Real Madrid who sacked him halfway through his first season.
