Romelu Lukaku is 9/43.25 to sign for Tottenham before the end of the transfer window as the north London outfit seek to replace departed striker Harry Kane.
Kane signed for Bayern Munich on Saturday, just a day before Tottenham's 2-2 draw at Brentford, and with last season's £60m signing Richarlison so far failing to impress at Spurs, boss Ange Postecoglu is expected to dip into the transfer market to find a proven goalscorer.
Lukaku would certainly fit that bill and the Chelsea striker is said to be available after failing to get his desired move to Juventus this summer.
Host of strikers linked with Spurs
Not surprisingly after Kane's exit, Tottenham are being linked with a plethora of strikers as the transfer window nears its closure.
Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic can be backed at 11/43.75 to join Spurs, though that's the same price as he is to join Chelsea as the Blues look for a replacement for injured striker Christopher Nkunku.
Brighton starlet Evan Ferguson is another name being linked with Tottenham. The 18-year-old came off the bench to score for the Seagulls on Saturday and he could be a perfect fit for Spurs, being a young powerful striker who could represent the club for years in the same way that Kane did.
Ferguson is 5/16.00 to join Tottenham in this transfer window.
And perhaps the striker that would be the most controversial signing should it happen is Folarin Balogunm who of course plays for Spurs' north London rivals Arsenal.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: "Tottenham will be on the lookout for a striker following the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, with Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku the most likely replacement at 9/43.25. Dusan Vlahovic is 11/43.75 to fill the void left by Tottenham's all-time record top scorer, with Brighton starlet Evan Ferguson 5/16.00.
"Meanwhile, Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is 8/19.00 to make a shock move to Spurs."
