Kane backed to win 2026 Ballon d'Or

Harry Kane has shortened from 7/42.75 into 11/82.38 to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or after continuing his incredible season with a goal and an assist in Bayern Munich's 5-4 defeat to Paris SG in Tuesday night's Champions League semi-final first leg.

The Englishman is enjoying a quite sensational season with the Bundesliga outfit where he has already won the German league title for a second successive year, and with 33 goals to his name - 15 more than anyone else - he will also be crowned the Bundesliga's top goalscorer.

Kane can complete the domestic double when Bayern Munich play Stuttgart in the German Cup final on Saturday 23 May but it's in the Champions League where the Ballon d'Or contenders have to shine.

And Kane is certainly doing that. He has 13 goals to his name in this season's tournament, just two behind Kylian Mbappe, but with the Frenchman no longer involved Kane has an excellent chance of winning the Golden Boot in Europe's elite club competition.

The 32-year old will need to help his side overturn a one goal deficit when Bayern host defending champions PSG in next week's semi-final second leg, but the Betfair Sportsbook fancy their chance with the Bundesliga side 15/82.88 favourites to win this season's Champions League.

Kane's Bayern Munich teammate Michael Olise is the 4/15.00 second favourite to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or - the winner will be announced in September - ahead of La Liga stars Lamine Yamal and Mbappe at 7/18.00 and 17/29.50 respectively.

Last year's Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele has also attracted support in the market and his is now 9/110.00 from [18/1] to defend his crown.
