Tip #1 - Back Denmark to beat Ukraine @ 8/131.61
It's a little surprising that we won't see Denmark at the World Cup given the talent in their squad and recent pedigree at international tournaments, but the UEFA qualifiers are the hardest to battle through, even with the new extended format, so it's not a massive failure for Denmark, who are the 20th-ranked side in the world.
They lost their spot at the World Cup to Czechia on penalties in the qualifying final, a situation they found themselves in after being beaten to top spot in their qualifying group by Scotland. Denmark have only lost one of their last 11 matches across all competitions, which was a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Scotland, managing to win six of those games.
They take on a Ukraine side who had a pretty fortunate qualifying group themselves, aside from France, who topped the group, but fell to Sweden in their attempt to reach the World Cup. Ukraine are just that level below Denmark, and tend to crumble against the superior European sides with their recent defeats against France and Sweden suggesting that they may struggle to get a positive result here.
Tip #2 - Back Croatia to beat Slovenia @ 3/101.30
Croatia are a side that people should probably be taking more seriously ahead of the World Cup in the summer. The main concern for Croatia is their ageing squad, but they tend to do well in international tournaments for a smaller nation, most notably reaching the final of the World Cup back in 2018.
Croatia's older profile of squad may harm their chances of replicating such a run, but it does give them a really valuable core of experienced players who have made strides in international football before. The likes of Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic and Dominik Livakovic have all impressed on the international stage for Croatia before, and they have a very experienced coach in Zlatko Dalic.
Slovenia haven't qualified for the World Cup, so I expect their sharpness to be a bit behind that of Croatia, who have been preparing for their opening game of the tournament against England. Croatia breezed through qualifying, winning seven of their eight matches - many of which were against sides of a similar level to Slovenia, most notably Czechia, whom they finished six points clear of at the top of the qualifying group.
Tip #3 - Back Greece to beat Italy @ 10/111.91
I can't quite believe that we will have another major tournament without Italy. It's a real failure of not just the players, but the overall setup within the Italian FA, which has failed to prioritise the emergence of young players, while also being a bit complacent in thinking that Italy's stature as an international giant would be enough to qualify for the World Cup.
They lost out to Bosnia in the qualifying final, leading to another inquest as to why Italy have fallen short of even appearing at an international tournament yet again. It's not like Italy have an awful squad, there's real talent there - the likes of Federico Dimarco, Sandro Tonali and Nicolo Barella are all quality players, but it's worth noting that the Italy squad that's been picked here is a shell of that side.
Greece have a full strength squad to pick from, and while they, too, won't be at the World Cup in the summer, their current crop of players should have more than enough quality and cohesion to beat an experimental Italian side who are missing nearly all of their key players.
Back Denmark, Croatia, Greece all to Win
