Football Accumulator Tips: Back Andy Robson's 5/1 four-fold on Saturday

Everton manager Sean Dyche
Everton have won 4 of their last 5 away games

Last week, Betfair and @AndyRobson kicked off a new weekly Acca which looked set to land as we awaited the shortest price of the lot in the late kick-off. Antwerp then let us down so we go again in the final weekend of 2023 with a 5/16.00 Acca to get stuck into.

  • Wolves and Everton provide chance for goals

  • Goals backed in both National League and Portugal

  • High flying Bromley to teach Ebbsfleet a lesson

As we approach the New Year, the football fixtures are still coming thick and fast, and with that comes my weekly Betfair accumulator ahead of Saturday's fixtures, priced up at 5/16.00 on the Betfair Sportsbook.

I've got some of the best tools in the industry to help bettors make smart decisions on bet builders, accumulators and much more on Andy's Bet Club.

Leg 1 - Wolves v Everton - Sat, 15:00
Tip: Both teams to score @ 3/41.75

After back-to-back victories over the Christmas period against Chelsea and Brentford, Wolves are looking up the table rather than over their shoulders.

Aside from two defeats early in the campaign, Molineux has become a fortress and they head into this encounter on a seven-match unbeaten run.

However, it's worth noting they've only kept one clean sheet which came against a struggling Burnley side; Eight of their nine home matches have ended with both teams finding the back of the net.

While the hosts are performing to a good level in front of their own supporters, Everton have been spreading festive cheer for those supporting Sean Dyche's side on their travels. Their 2-1 defeat to Spurs ended their four-match winning run away in the Premier League - despite dominating in North London.

With an xG of 1.86, 18 shots, and eight corners, Dyche would have been disappointed their incredible run on the road didn't continue. A more attacking style away from home has caught plenty of opponents out of late.

Everton's recent form shows they are very much in a false league position due to their -10 point deduction, and without it they'd be above Wolves in the table, as well as Chelsea.

However, despite clean sheets at home, goals conceded against Brentford, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Spurs on the road have indicated their backline has been vulnerable on several occasions.

Against an in-form Wolves side, who already have Hee-Chan Hwang on double digits in the Premier League, both have work to do at the back, which is why goals are on the cards this Saturday.

Leg 2: Edinburgh City v Hamilton - Sat, 15:00
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 2/51.40

Hamilton Accies will expect to sweep past crisis-hit Edinburgh City at Meadowbank on Saturday in an encounter that promises fans to be a goal-laden affair.

With uncertainty still dogging the home side's future, they must work largely with a panel of inexperienced youngsters who were playing U20 football a month ago. Key players have been released after their contracts were not honoured and their problems have only mounted over the last week.

Key defender Liam Fontaine, one of their few experienced figures, and on-loan attacker Kieran Offord both went off injured, while Brodie Devine is suspended after being sent off last weekend. They are down to the barest of bones.

Hamilton, meanwhile, approach this game hungry for a big win after going three without a victory - a run that has put their title hopes in the balance. Full-time Accies need to get back on track and they are likely to show little remorse in their approach here.

Edinburgh have conceded 13 goals in their last three games - including seven alone against Cove last weekend - though they have also scored in each of these fixtures. With the hosts depleted at the back yet still, somehow, remaining capable going forward, goals in this encounter should be inevitable.

Leg 3: Bromley v Ebbsfleet - Sat, 15:00
Tip: Bromley to win @ 4/91.44 (match odds 90)

The Festive fixture list in the National League sees teams play each other both home and away on consecutive matchdays. Bromley host Ebbsfleet United having beaten them 3-2 on Tuesday in Kent.

They sit in second spot, nine points and 14 goals clear of Solihull Moors - quite the position to be in as they look to hunt down Chesterfield.

The Ravens have won nine of their 13 home matches, losing only one of their last 12. They have won all five home matches against bottom-half opposition and their record against sides 10th or lower is exceptional this term with 12 wins and four draws in 16 matches.

Ebbsfleet United could only dream of such form - last season's title win feels like a long time ago now.

The Fleet currently find themselves in 22nd spot and their away form isn't much to shout about, losing seven of their 11 on the road. They have lost seven of eight matches against top-seven opposition too.

Ebbsfleet's big results have come when the opposition have left themselves exposed naively but that isn't how Bromley do things - they are solid and take their opportunities. I expect them to teach the Fleet another lesson in game management and taking your chances.

A reminder that this selection is with Betfair's new match odds 90 market, which is available on all football this season. To find out exactly how it works, please click here, but it simply means for us this weekend, if Bromley lead at 90:00, it won't matter if they fail to win should they concede in injury time!

Leg 4: Estoril v Farense - Sat, 15:30
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 8/111.73

Estoril face Farense on Saturday and this could be an absolute goal fest.

The home side are scoring freely and come into this one on the back of four straight home victories where they have scored thirteen goals, a run which included an impressive 3-1 win over FC Porto.

Veteran forward Cassiano has been lethal of late with four goals in his last six games and that can be attributed to the midfield craft of Rafik Guitane and Rodrigo Gomes, who have created plenty of chances for the Brazilian. Only those sides in the top five in the table have scored more than Estoril this term.

The visitors' recent away games have been very open affairs with plenty of goals for both teams. In fact, there have been a staggering 24 goals scored in their previous five games on their travels and more of the same can be expected in this match, especially with the attacking talent they have, including top scorer Bruno Duarte.

In terms of the head-to-head, the last three games between these sides have produced nine goals, and it would be no surprise to see a few find the back of the net here once again.
