We're spending Saturday night in the Republic of Ireland

"Wexford have lost all but one of their league matches, while Cobh Ramblers have won two of their last three."

Back Cobh Ramblers to win and Under 3.5 Goals at 2.285/4

After picking up an odds-against winner in Egypt, Kev's on the hunt for another in the Republic of Ireland.

Rock-bottom side to lose again

Cobh Ramblers v Wexford
Saturday 26 June, 19:00

As the leader of the A-Team (ask your parents, kids), Colonel Hannibal Smith used to say that he loved it when a plan came together. Our plan came together within 31 minutes in Egypt last night, as both Al Masry and El Entag El Harby got themselves on the scoresheet to land our BTTS bet. For completists, the visitors went on to secure a shock 3-2 win.

We'll head back to the Republic of Ireland now, because Cobh Ramblers are up against hapless Wexford in the First Division, and I fancy a home win.

It's fair to say Wexford are having a tough time of it. They finished tenth at this level last season, and this term they have lost 11 of their first 12 league matches. Their only avoidance of defeat was at Cabinteely a month ago, and across the other 11 games, they have scored just three goals. Manager Brian O'Sullivan was dismissed after The Youths suffered defeat in their first seven matches, and his replacement Ian Ryan is yet to really turn things around.

Cobh Ramblers are second from bottom, but a run of two wins from their last three matches has changed the dynamic. A win at high-flying UCD a couple of weeks ago shows what the team is capable of, and it's worth remembering they finished sixth in the division last term. Although they have lost three of their last four at St. Colman's Park, all three of those losses were against sides in the top four.

I think Cobh Ramblers can take maximum points against the worst side in the division, but I'm not expecting many goals. Cobh Ramblers have only scored 10 goals in their first 12 matches, and Wexford have the worst attacking record in the league. I'll use the Sportsbook's Bet Builder (see offer below) to back Cobh Ramblers to win and Under 3.5 Goals at 2.285/4.
