There was double disappointment in Germany last night. Not only did our tip Bayer Leverkusen fail to win at Hoffenheim, but the goalless draw they played out is the second-worst game I've commentated on all season. The highlight was the Viennese Whirl I scoffed at full time.

We hope for better in France, and we're dipping into the National for a clash between rock-bottom Boulogne and Sete.

Boulogne could still escape the drop from the third tier, as they have games in hand on their rivals, but they are currently eight points adrift of safety, and they are finding wins exceedingly hard to come by. Given that they finished third last term, their collapse this term has been something of a surprise. They have drawn their last five matches, and they haven't picked up a win since December. In a frankly bizarre season, they have drawn 15 of their 26 games and have won just three.

Sete are in the relegation battle too, but are just above the dropzone. They have put together a five-match unbeaten run on the road, drawing four of those five. They have seen 12 of their 28 games end level, and they have only lost two of their last 12. Incredibly, six of their last 14 outings have ended 0-0.

Given the amount of draws these sides rack up, I'm sorely tempted to back the draw at 2.9215/8, but instead I'll oppose Boulogne as favourites. If we back Sete +0 & +0.5 on the Asian Handicap at 2.1211/10, we pick up an odds-against winner if they win, and we get a half-win if they draw. We only lose if Boulogne win, and they haven't done that once in 2021. It's also worth noting that Sete won the reverse fixture 4-0.
