After a topsy-turvy week, Kev's hoping to finish in the black with a winner in Sweden.
"Both teams have found the net in nine of Helsinborg's last 11 games, and neither defence is playing well."
Back Both Teams To Score at 1.9110/11
Swedish strugglers to put on a show
AIK v Helsingborg
Sunday 23 August, 16:30
There was disappointment in Morocco yesterday, as the clash between Khouribga and Berkane was postponed. That means we're pretty much all square going into our final day.
We'll return to Northern Europe, because AIK are in action against Helsingborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan, and there's every reason to think these strugglers will come up with an intriguing encounter.
AIK finished fourth in the Swedish top tier last term, and they were champions as recently as 2018, but they are finding life tough at the moment. They have collected just two points from their last seven games, and they haven't won since mid-July. They have lost their last three matches at the Friends Arena, and they have kept clean sheets in just four of their 16 league games.
Helsingborg are in even poorer shape, as they are bottom of the table, a point worse off than tonight's opponents. However, they have lost just three of their last 11 league games- with a glut of draws keeping them in the lower reaches of the standings.
On that basis, it's tempting to lay AIK here at 1.845/6, but instead I'll back both teams to score at 1.9110/11. A BTTS bet has paid out in nine of Helsingborg's last 11 league games, and neither defence has a good record.
Because the Moroccan bet went west, I'll also include a bonus selection from Iceland here, which is Over 3.5 Goals in the Reykjavik derby between Leiknir and Throttur at 2.0811/10. In 2020, 13 of Leiknir's 20 competitive matches have featured four goals or more, while Thottur have leaked a whopping 14 goals in their last five games.
