Europa League Tips and Predictions
17:45 - Marseille v Brighton: Back BHA double chance & over 2.5 goals
Jamie Kemp: "Between Gennaro Gattuso being new in the role and the fact he's unlikely to take an entirely conservative approach, despite the threat De Zerbi's side pose, I expect Brighton to be quick to find the weak parts of their game plan.
"At the same time, fortune does favour the brave - even if only in certain moments - and Marseille do have considerable weapons to work with, when they can interrupt Brighton's possession play.
"Joaquín Correa, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Iliman Ndiaye were the three to start in attack in Gattuso's opening game, and they provide real mobility in the final third - particularly given the positional freedom that their coach grants.
"Indeed, even if the performance turns out to be a little ragged, the home side can still expect to generate some danger in attack. I expect Brighton to be in vengeful shape here, but for Marseille to be spiky in their approach on home turf."
17:45 - Freiburg v West Ham: Back Over 2.5 goals
Kevin Hatchard: "The market is struggling to split these two, and I can see why. Freiburg were only beaten by Juventus at home in Europe last season, and in the Bundesliga their only home defeats in the last 19 outings have been against Bayern, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. Conversely, West Ham have looked strong this term, so there isn't much to choose between them.
"On that basis I'll ignore the Match Odds route and simply back Over 2.5 Goals at 1.75. That has paid out in four of Freiburg's last seven competitive games, and they have already leaked ten goals in the league this term. Six of West Ham's nine games in all competitions have featured at least three goals."
20:00 - Liverpool v Union Saint-Gilloise: Back Union +2
Kevin Hatchard: "Union Saint-Gilloise have made great strides since Brighton owner Tony Bloom got involved, and they are genuinely a team that now pushes for trophies and goes toe-to-toe with big hitters in Europe.
"This is undoubtedly a step up from what they are used to, and no team goes to Anfield on a European night with huge confidence, but I think they can at least be competitive.
"Liverpool face a trip to Brighton on Sunday, so they will heavily rotate their line-up here. I think the in-form visitors can dig in and make life awkward, so I'll back them +2.0 on the Asian Handicap at 1.85 on the Betfair Exchange. In that case, only a Liverpool win by three goals or more would see our bet lose."
20:00 - Molde v Leverkusen
Paul Higham: "Bayer have scored 32 goals this season with Alonso getting them into some serious form that includes having a real cutting edge up front.
Six of their eight wins have come by more than a goal - with the other two being games against RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.
"Molde are by no means those two top Bundesliga sides and Alonso seems in no mood to take this competition lightly. Given how often they've won by a clear margin, 11/10 on Leverkusen ay -1 on the handicap isn't too bad at all."
Spanish Segunda Division Tip
20:30 - Cartagena v Espanyol
Tobias Gourlay: "Luis Garcia's Espanyol are W5-D2-L1 through the first eight rounds of the campaign, winning five of their last seven. On the road, they lost 1-0 at second-placed Tenerife last time out - but won the two away games preceding that.
"Cartagena don't look to be in Tenerife's class, so we'll take the Parakeets - who scored 13 in the 4 games around that Tenerife trip - to outgun the Zebras tonight."
