UEFA Europa League

Football Accumulator Tips: Back 3/1 Thursday night four-fold

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery
BTTS has landed in 5/7 Villa's UECL matches

We now turn our attention to Thursday's Europa fixtures, and I've put together a 3/14.00 Acca covering four games in the second legs of the Europa League and Europa Conference League..

Leg #1 - Atalanta v Liverpool (20:00) - Back over 2.5 Goals

Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta have a reputation for punching above their weight, though La De still caught Liverpool cold at Anfield last week when their 3-0 win on Merseyside left spectators shocked.

To turn the tie around and get Jurgen Klopp's faltering fairy tale farewell tour back on track, Liverpool have no choice but to go for the jugular from the off in Bergamo on Thursday evening and that should open up more counter-attacking opportunities for Atalanta.

Seven of Atalanta's last eight matches at the Gewiss Stadium and each of Liverpool's last four away assignments in the Europa League have produced over 2.5 goals and more of the same is anticipated here.

Leg #2 - West Ham v Bayer Leverkusen (20:00) - Back Leverkusen Double Chance

Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen made history by clinching the Bundesliga title for the first time on Sunday following an emotionally-charged 5-0 rout of Werder Bremen, and Die Werkself - who have yet to taste defeat in any competition this term - can continue their pursuit of continental glory at West Ham's expense on Thursday.

Leverkusen needed two late goals to see off the Hammers in the first leg, though the German champions completely outclassed their counterparts throughout, controlling 72.8% of the possession and clocking a mammoth 31 shots to the Irons' one at the BayArena.

With both Jarrod Bowen (injured) and Lucas Paqueta (suspended) missing for West Ham in the second leg, it's difficult to see how David Moyes' side can turn things around in London and a stake on unbeaten Leverkusen in the double chance market is the favoured approach as a result.

Leg #3 - Lille v Aston Villa (17:45) - Back BTTS

Aston Villa carved out a 2-1 advantage in last week's quarter-final first leg against Ligue 1 outfit Lille, though margins were slim at Villa Park and Les Dogues showed enough bite to suggest they can match the Villains again in France on Thursday.

Villa racked up 12 attempts to Lille's 11 last week, though the French side outworked their hosts for shots on target (7-4) and with more fortune, they might have enjoyed a share of the spoils in the English Midlands.

Back on home soil, Lille will expect to run Villa close again and they should, at the very least, maintain their perfect strike rate at the Decathlon Arena. Lille have scored in 100% of their 20 matches in all competitions there this season, though each of their last four contests there have produced goals at both ends.

BTTS also landed in five of Aston Villa's last seven games in the Conference League and the same market holds plenty of appeal in this one.

Leg #4 - Fiorentina v Viktoria Plzen (17:45) - Back Fiorentina

Fiorentina will feel they laid solid groundwork with a 0-0 draw against Viktoria Plzen in last week's quarter-final first-leg encounter between the teams in the Czech Republic and back in Florence, La Viola look well placed to complete their qualification task.

Vincenzo Italiano's troops have taken their eye off the ball domestically in recent weeks, though a focus on continental success might be behind their slump in Serie A. However, Fiorentina have lost only two of their last 16 matches at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, and home advantage could get them over the line against Plzen.

To their credit, Viktoria have yet to lose in the Conference League this season, however, a test in Italy against Fiorentina represents their stiffest challenge to date and they have struggled against higher-calibre opponents before.

Viktoria lost six games out of six in last season's Champions League group stage, conceding 24 times along the way and they might come up short again in a tough European fixture on Thursday.
