League One Treble

Leg 1: Leyton Orient v Exeter City, Tuesday 19:45: Back Orient

Orient bounced backed after a couple of tough games against Lincoln and Peterborough to beat Cheltenham comfortably on Saturday with a 3-1 win.

The Londoners won the reverse fixture earlier in the season 1-2 and have won just two of their last 11 Football League games against Exeter (D2 L7), conceding 3+ goals in five of those matches, so they look another sound bet at 4/61.67 to win on Tuesday although this is a game with absolutely nothing riding on it with both booked for mid-table finishes.

The Grecians are unbeaten in six going into Tuesday, but they've lost 11 on the road and I can see a few goals in this one.

KEY OPTA STAT: Leyton Orient are unbeaten in their last six league games played in midweek (W4 D2 on Tues, Wed, Thurs), recording a clean sheet in four of their last five such matches.

Leg 2: Blackpool v Fleetwood Town, Tuesday 19:45: Back Under 2.5 Goals

Blackpool won for the column on Saturday justifying their short price to win at home - just. They scraped a 1-0 success against Cambridge in a fairly dire game as the visitors registered just one shot on target.

The Tangerines are still in the hunt for a play-off place and have lost just one of their 11 league games against Fleetwood Town (W5 D5), keeping a clean sheet in three of the last four meetings.

I like that clean sheet angle, and eight of Blackpool's last eight have all hit the Under 2.5 Goals target.

KEY OPTA STAT: Fleetwood Town have won just three of their 18 league games under Charlie Adam since he took charge of his first game on New Year's Day (D7 L8), giving him the worst win-rate of any permanent Cod Army manager in the Football League (16.7%).

Leg 3: Stevenage v Barnsley, Tuesday 19:45: Back Barnsley

Barnsley's inconsistencies are costing them. Having beat Burton 1-3 on the road, they fell at the south London hurdle on Saturday with a 1-2 lost at Charlton.

Nathan Jones, the Addicks boss said: "They're in the play-offs, they score goals freely and they've got one of the best away records. So for us to win the game, we're delighted."

The Tykes got done on the counter, but they have enough in the bank this season on the road to take a punt on for Tuesday as they are pushing 2/13.00 on the Sportsbook - that's a little too big for a side still in the play-off zone.

Stevenage have failed to win any of their last three home league games without scoring (D2 L1), last going four in a row at the Lamex Stadium without finding the net in October 2020.

KEY OPTA STAT: Barnsley are unbeaten in their last seven league games against newly promoted opposition (W6 D1), including all six this season. The Tykes have won each of the last four in a row, though they haven't kept a single clean sheet across that whole stint.

League Two Treble

Leg 1: Barrow v Bradford City, Tuesday 19:45: Back the draw

Barrow are still in the unlikeliest of positions in the top five and face a Bradford team that are finally finding a bit of form and are unbeaten in three.

The hosts have only lost three at home, but the seven draws at home pushes me towards firing in the draw for the acca to boost the treble.

Barrow have lost their last two, so they need to gain at least a point in terms of their position, and while I don't see too may goals here and the Under 2.5 Goals came under consideration, there's a chance they could cancel out each other.

Overall Barrow are xG 1.38 and 1.24, while Bradford are 1.43 and 1.25. Bradford have won just two of their last 13 league games played on a Tuesday (D6 L5), failing to score in five matches during that run.

KEY OPTA STAT: Barrow have lost just one of their last seven league games played on a Tuesday (W4 D2), with all four of those wins coming alongside a clean sheet.

Back the draw @ 23/103.30

Leg 2: Harrogate Town v Grimsby Town, Tuesday 19:45: Back Harrogate

Harrogate have won four of their five previous meetings with Grimsby in League Two (D1), including this season's reverse clash (2-1) and are a shade overpriced here at 17/102.70 despite a recent defeat at Notts County.

Their home form is indifferent as they've lost 10, but they recently hammered Gillingham 5-1 and beat Bradford in their previous home fixture 3-0.

Grimsby have lost both of their previous two away games at Harrogate in League Two, going down 1-0 in 2020-21 and 3-2 in 2022-23.

KEY OPTA STAT: Grimsby Town have lost just two of their last 13 league games played on a Tuesday (W6 D5), keeping a clean sheet in each of their last two such outings.

Back Harrogate @ 17/102.70

Leg 3: Wrexham v Crawley Town, Tuesday 19:45: Back Crawley

Opposing Wrexham at a short price hasn't reaped rewards too often this season as they've won a fair chunk of their matches at the Racecourse and have lost just three, but the 9/25.50 price on Crawley might be worth chancing here. Or if you fancy the Double Chance bet.

Last month the Welsh side failed to beat Harrogate and Tranmere with 0-0 and 0-1 results, and it follows one or two shocks of late. Even Mansfield got stuffed at home recently.

Crawley have lost just one of their last five league games played on a Tuesday (W3 D1), though that defeat did come during their last such match on the road, a 1-0 loss at Morecambe. However, Crawley have won 10 on the road which is the joint-most alongside Mansfield and Stockport.

Wrexham will always be short at home, but this market looks too wide with 1/21.50 and 9/25.50 on the outrights.

KEY OPTA STAT: Wrexham have lost just one of their last ten league games played on a Tuesday (W4 D5), though that sole defeat did come during the Welsh side's last such match in a 1-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers earlier this month.

Back Crawley @ 9/25.50
