Didier Drogba is a professional footballer from the Ivory Coast who, at the time of writing, is plying his trade at Turkish club Galatasaray.

The striker, born in 1978, has played in leagues in France, England, China, and now Turkey.
With 62 goals from his 98 appearances, Drogba is the all-time leading goalscorer for Ivory Coast and is the current captain of the African nation.
The Ivorian started his professional career at Le Mans follow spells at Abbeville, Vannes and Levallois as a youth player. He made his debut for the Ligue 2 club at the age of 21 and he went on to make 64 appearances, scoring 12 goals in the process.
In 2002 he was struggling to maintain his spot in the first team at Le Mans and so moved to Guingamp for £80,000. He was able to help his new club avoid relegation from Ligue 1 but it was during his next campaign that he made a big impact, scoring 17 goals. Guingamp finished seventh in the standings, a club record high.
His return to France's top flight saw him earn a move to Olympique de Marseille for £3.3 million. He spent just one year in the south of the country but was very successful in his stint there. Drogba scored 19 league goals, which was enough to earn him the National Union of Professional Footballers Player of the Year title. His performances in the Champions League, where he netted five times, and the Europa League, which saw him score on six occasions, also stood out.
It wasn't until he signed for Chelsea, though, that he became one of the most feared strikers in the world. Drogba spent eight years at the West London club, winning the Premier League title three times. There was also plenty of success for the frontman in the FA Cup as he earned four winner medals, as well as a couple of League Cup successes.
The striker was able to sign off in the perfect way from the Premier League club as he scored the winning penalty in the shootout for the Champions League in 2012 against Bayern Munich.
His subsequent spell in Shanghai did not last too long as financial difficulties rocked the Chinese club. The Ivorian contacted FIFA to ask them to help him get out of his contract in order to allow him to move to Galatasaray, where he is currently playing under the former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.
