Liverpool's defence still isn't quite where it needs to be

Paul Robinson is predicting goals in the Europa League tonight, and his BTTS Daily Acca comes in at just below 5/16.00.

  • Struggling Ajax to go on the attack

  • Liverpool to concede again

  • Goals at both ends in Group H fixture

Leg 1 BTTS in Brighton v Ajax @ 4/71.57

Both Brighton and Ajax are yet to win in Group B, and while we are only two games in, they will both be keen to pick up that first success tonight.

The Dutch visitors are enduring a shocking campaign by their usual high standards, as they have taken just five points from their opening seven Eredivisie matches.

Maurice Steijn has been sacked just four months into his spell as manager, so assistant manager, Hedwiges Maduro will be in the dugout tonight.

The Seagulls are seventh in the Premier League table, but they are actually winless in five in all competitions - despite the fact that they have scored five times across the last three.

Leg 2 BTTS in Liverpool v Toulouse @ 20/231.87

The Reds are top of Group E, and while they are at home for tonight's fixture, I have my doubts about their ability to keep a clean sheet.

Jurgen Klopp's men haven't stopped many teams from scoring this season, despite their overall strong start to the campaign.

The French visitors have taken four points from their opening two group games, and they head to Anfield, unbeaten in four in all competitions.

Their last three away matches have all finished 1-1, and while I expect them to lose here, I can definitely see them scoring.

Leg 3 BTTS in Leverkusen v Qarabag @ 1/12.00

Bayer Leverkusen have been pretty dominant so far this season - taking 22 points from a possible 24 in the Bundesliga, and six from six in this competition.

It's five wins from five at home, but they did concede a goal in three of them, and the visitors have been a winning machine too this term - albeit it at a lower level.

Qarabag have won six of their last seven, and they have won both of their two Group H fixtures. They travel to Germany full of confidence and are more than capable of giving the hosts a game.
