The Daily Acca: A 3/1 treble from the Carabao Cup

• Forest to remain strong at home

• Blades to boost confidence with a win

Leg 1 Nottingham Forest (90mins) @ 1/12.00 (19:45)

Steve Cooper's side begin their Carabao Cup campaign on the back of a heartbreaking defeat at Old Trafford. They led 0-2 early on, before eventually losing 3-2. They are back at the City Ground tonight though, and they are one from one here this season.

Burnley have only played twice this season, with both of their matches coming at Turf Moor. They lost both though, and while a defeat to Man City can be forgiven, they were swept aside pretty easily by Aston Villa on Sunday.

Leg 2 Sheffield United (90mins) @ 3/101.30 (19:45)

The Blades need a win, and while the Carabao Cup won't be high up their priorities, they will be keen to head into the Everton game on the back of a victory.

Paul Heckingbottom will of course not play his best XI, but it shouldn't be completely second-string, and they are up against League One opposition at Bramall Lane.

Lincoln are five unbeaten in all competitions, so they are in good form, but this is a massive step-up in opponent, and they are away from home.

Leg 3 Blackburn (90mins) @ 4/71.57 (19:45)

Harrogate Town host Blackburn, and with two divisions between them, I expect the visitors to pick up the win and book their place in the next round.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's side have made a strong start to the season, and they won 0-1 at Vicarage Road on Sunday. In their other away fixture this term, they picked up a 2-2 draw at Rotherham.

The hosts put three straight defeats behind them by beating Morecambe on Saturday, but their opponents finished the game with 10 men, and this is a much sterner test.
