When Saturday comes, so does a mega Paul Robinson Daily Acca, and he's lined up some big odds on Grand National Day.

  • Forest to win again at the City Ground

  • Sky Blues to keep the pressure on Norwich

  • Baggies to beat the Black Cats

Leg 1 Nottingham Forest (90mins) @ 1/12.00 (15:00)

Wolves head to the City Ground having lost three of their last four in all competitions, and their other result during that run was a 1-1 draw at the struggling, Burnley.

Forest were beaten 3-1 at Spurs last weekend, but I think that can be forgiven, and prior to that they had taken five points from three outings - including a victory over Fulham in their latest home game.

Given that the hosts are in desperate need of the points, and that Gary O'Neil's men are floating around mid-table, I expect all three points to stay in Nottingham.

Leg 2 Coventry (90mins) @ 11/102.11 (15:00)

The Sky Blues are still just about hanging on to the coat-tails of Norwich in sixth place, as despite losing at Southampton during the week, the Canaries dropped points at Sheffield Wednesday.

Mark Robins' team absolutely have to win at St Andrew's this afternoon though, and given the state of the Blues' performance of late, I make the visitors a good bet at odds-against.

Gary Rowett's side were dismal in their 0-1 home defeat to Cardiff on Wednesday, and Coventry should be able to head into next weekend's FA Cup semi-final on a win.

Leg 3 Preston (90mins) @ 17/102.70 (15:00)

Preston are still in the Play-off race themselves, as they are level on points with Coventry, having played the same number of games. They welcome Norwich to Deepdale today for a match that I believe they can win.

The Canaries have accumulated most of their points at Carrow Road this term, and only Plymouth, Huddersfield, Birmingham and Rotherham have won fewer games on the road.

The selection have won 11 of 21 at home, and they comfortably beat Huddersfield 4-1 during the week.

Leg 4 West Brom (90mins) @ 4/61.67 (15:00)

The Baggies are pretty much secure in the Play-off places, but they will be keen to keep their momentum going by beating Sunderland at the Hawthorns.

It's been a disappointing campaign for the Black Cats, and interim manager, Mike Dodds, has won just one of his nine matches in charge - losing on five occasions.

Carlos Corberán's hosts are currently unbeaten in 10, and it's eight wins from their last 10 in front of their own fans.

Leg 5 Bristol City (90mins) @ 6/52.20 (15:00)

Huddersfield are hovering above the bottom three, but it's so tight down there, and they are up against it at Ashton Gate today.

The Robins have returned to form in recent weeks, and since a 2-0 loss at West Brom, they have beaten Leicester, Plymouth and Blackburn, and drawn with Sunderland - all without conceding a goal.

They thumped Rovers 5-0 on Wednesday, and that came the day after the Terriers were beaten 4-1 at Deepdale.

Acca Wreckers

The first of this week's two teams to avoid putting in your Accas this weekend are Hull, who are 10/111.91 to beat QPR.

Despite being just six points adrift of the Play-offs, Hull last home victory came at the beginning of February. Since that 1-0 win over Millwall, they have lost twice and drawn four times.

QPR, meanwhile, have lost just three of their last 15 outings, and are unbeaten in five on their travels.

The top three in the Championship are falling over themselves to give their two rivals automatic promotion, and even with Leicester losing on Friday, I just couldn't back Ipswich at 4/61.67 to beat Middlesbrough.

The Tractor Boys were beaten in the East Anglia derby last weekend, and they could only draw 0-0 with Watford during the week.

Middlesbrough are fighting for sixth place, and they head to Portman Road eight unbeaten, having drawn 2-2 at Hull on Wednesday.
