Luton, Sheffield Wednesday and Stockport will be the teams that win promotion in the play-off finals at Wembley this weekend, according to the Betfair markets.

Play-off weekend, potentially the most stressful of the football season, takes place from 27-29 May the betting indicates that there is very little between the teams vying to go up.

The action gets underway with the Championship play-off final - aka "the most valuable game in the world" - and continues on Sunday with League 2 before culminating on Monday with the League One Yorkshire derby.

Coventry City v Luton - (Saturday 16:45)

Luton finished third in the Championship and are 7/5 favourites to beat Coventry 2/1, who ended the regular season in fifth, inside 90 minutes. The draw is 21/10 and that was outcome in both matches between the clubs this season.

Both teams have been on incredible journeys in recent seasons and it is remarkable to see them at Wembley, one game from the big time.

Stockport lost their semi-final first leg 1-0 before beating Salford 2-1 in the second and winning the penalty shootout. Carlisle needed extra-time to overcome Bradford, which adds more weight to

For that reason, it may be worth looking at over 3.5 goals at 14/5.

Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday - (Monday 15:00)

Sheffield Wednesday are 6/5 to win this all south Yorkshire League 1 play-off final against Barnsley 23/10. If you think the match, between the teams that finished third and fourth respectively, the price on the draw is 23/10.

The Owls finished 10 points ahead of The Tykes but Barnsley won both matches between them, 2-0 and 4-2.

Wednesday nearly blew it in the semis, losing the first leg 4-0 to Peterborough before producing the mother all comebacks in the second to win 5-1 and, with the tie all sqaure at 5-5 after extra-time, prevail on penalties. Barnsley saw off Bolton 2-1 over two legs.

Expect drama in all three matches, with these two potentially providing a thrilling finale to a huge weekend in the EFL.
