Coventry have found form recently

Runaway Championship leaders Leicester face a tricky M69 derby against Coventry on Saturday. Betfair writer Mark O'Haire is backing the visitors to pinch all three points...

Coventry 3.8514/5 continued their fine recent form with a 6-2 demolition of League One promotion chasers Oxford in the FA Cup last weekend. The game burst into life with three goals in four chaotic first-half minutes; Joel Latibeaudiere, Ellis Simms and Kasey Palmer were all on-target and the Sky Blues took control of the contest thereafter.

Callum O'Hare and Matt Godden added gloss to the scoreline in the second-half and manager Mark Robins was full of praise for his players post-match, saying: "It was a really professional performance. There was some really good football - we looked really good and we're looking to keep this run of form going with a big match on the menu next weekend."

Looking ahead to the M69 derby with Leicester, Robins admitted Coventry's leading Championship goalscorer Haji Wright was still struggling to be fit with a groin injury. However, the USA international is the only doubt ahead of Saturday's showdown with an otherwise full squad to select from at the CBS Arena.

Leicester 2.0621/20 showed their clinical side to pip Millwall in an entertaining all-Championship FA Cup tie at The Den last time out. The much-changed Foxes went ahead with their first attack as Cesare Casadei headed home, and Ricardo Pereira doubled the advantage before the break; Millwall did halve the deficit, only for Tom Cannon to add a third for the visitors.

Foxes chief Enzo Marasca was impressed with his players' performance post-match, saying: "We had a very young first XI - we had seven of our 11 players born after 2000 - so it was a tricky game, but overall we created many chances, we scored three goals and we could have scored more. In the second-half we especially showed quality with and without the ball."

Marasca made seven changes for the Millwall match and more are anticipated on Saturday with up to eight players potentially unavailable for the visitors; Kelechi Iheanacho, Patson Daka and Harry Souttar are on international duty, whilst Wilfred Ndidi is a long-term absentee. Meanwhile, Jamie Vardy, Kasey McAteer and Dennis Praet are all rated doubtful.

Coventry capable of thwarting flying Foxes

Coventry come into the weekend's match having suffered a solitary league defeat since early November (W6-D4-L1) with the Sky Blues also falling to just one home reverse at the CBS Arena this season (W5-D7-L1). Mark Robins' men represent a tough nut to crack and have the ability to frustrate the runaway Championship leaders this weekend.

Of course, Leicester command maximum respect having already tabled top honours in 21 of their 26 Championship contests, picking up maximum points in 10 of 13 away days. Enzo Marasca's outfit have also secured victories in three of four trips to top-10 opponents, whilst dropping points just once since the start December.

Even so, the Foxes are missing a few key cogs in the final-third and were given a tough time in the reverse clash by Coventry back in August. With the Sky Blues now close to full-strength, in fine recent form, and boasting a solid long-term record in front of their own supporters, the recipe could be in-place for a potential upset in the East Midlands.
