Blackburn welcome Leicester to Ewood Park for Sunday's televised Championship action. Betfair writer Mark O'Haire is backing the visitors to edge an entertaining encounter.

Blackburn 3.3512/5 boss Jon Dahl Tomasson felt Rovers' first-half cost them at Ipswich last weekend with individual errors proving their undoing. The Ewood Park outfit were beaten 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller, trailing the hosts 3-1 at half-time. All four goals conceded were self-inflicted with neither Aynsley Pears nor the defence covering themselves in glory.

Tomasson felt all of the goals were very avoidable but was pleased with the second-half response from his side. He said, "The first half cost us the game - we were not quick enough on the ball. The second half was more Blackburn Rovers which we normally see. The guys showed resilience and it was a good performance in the second half, we created a lot."

Arnor Sigurdsson should continue after making his debut last time out, but Ryan Hedges could be set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury. Dilan Markanday is hoping to be involved after a couple of bright cameos from the bench. Forwards Sam Gallagher and Niall Ennis remain unavailable for the home side.

Leicester 2.166/5 head coach Enzo Maresca described last weekend's 1-0 victory over Bristol City at the King Power Stadium as "almost perfect". Veteran striker Jamie Vardy scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot, but City were comfortably the better side against a dogged Robins outfit, wining the shot count 19-6, and forcing nine corners.

Marasca said, "Since minute one we dominated the game, playing in the opposite side of the pitch. If we continue to play in the way we play today, it's good. But it's very early in the season and we must stay focussed, we must continue to improve each week - that's our aim."

Leicester may require a defensive reshuffled ahead of Sunday's showdown - young defender Callum Doyle hobbled off and left the stadium on crutches. James Justin could come in to the rearguard on Sunday, whilst Kelechi Iheanacho is looking for a recall.

Entertainment expected at Ewood

Ante-post favourites Leicester (W7-D0-L1) have made a strong start to the Championship season. Since the Foxes' only defeat of the campaign, against Hull before the international break, Enzo Maresca's men have won three, scored seven goals and conceded just once.

That run includes a 4-1 victory at St Mary's against a Southampton side that was relegated from the Premier League alongside the Foxes last season, a 2-0 win at Norwich and the victory against Bristol City. Leicester have won all four of their away days and are understandably well-favoured by the market again this weekend.

Back Leicester to win & BTTS @ 5/23.50

Bet now

I'm happy to support another Leicester success, yet goals could also feature with Blackburn in fine goalscoring form of their own. Rovers have failed to notch just once all season, striking twice or more in half of their eight encounters. However, the hosts have shipped 12 goals in four dates with top-half teams, losing all four of those Championship fixtures.

With that in-mind, it looks well worth backing Leicester to win and Both Teams To Score at a generous 5/23.50. Four of the Foxes' seven triumphs have arrived alongside BTTS, whilst Blackburn have scored in 22 of their 27 Ewood Park outings under the tutorship of Jon Dahl Tomasson.
