First clash of titans in Group of Death
The pick of Wednesday's Champions League matches sees Inter host Bayern Munich in Group C.
With the group also containing Barcelona, one of these European super powers is going to miss out on a place in the last-16. Inter are the team expected to finish outside of the top two places, priced as third favourites at 2.1211/10 to qualify from Group C.
It's therefore imperative that they get off to a good start, especially with this fixture being at home. They lost 3-2 at the San Siro in their derby at the weekend against AC Milan, though the game was technically away from home.
They also lost won of their five Serie A games away at Lazio (W3), leaving them seventh in the table.
Bayern are unbeaten in the Bundesliga, but have had a couple of disappointing results of late. They drew 1-1 at Union Berlin on Saturday, which followed another draw against Borussia Monchengladbach this previous weekend.
Bayern had won their first three games of the season, which included a 6-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt and a 7-0 win at Bochum.
Bayern rightful favourites
It's Bayern that are the favourites at 1.910/11, with an Inter win at 4.131/10 and the draw at 4.216/5.
With Inter having already lost twice this season, that seems a fair set of odds. Bayern are still adapting to life without the reliable source of goals that was Robert Lewandowski, but they have plenty of players capable of chipping in, with Sadio Mane and Jamal Musiala both having scored three each this season.
While Bayern's price is fair, you might be looking for an extra bit of value, considering their recent draws in the Bundesliga. Back a Bayern win, both teams to score and goals scored in both halves, at odds of 3.211/5.
