We're in Munich, Liverpool and Madrid for this Wednesday night Champions League treble that pays out at bigger than 5/1. Jamie Pacheco has the lowdown...
"Fresh from another goal at the weekend, a super headed effort this time, Jota is a good price at 11/10 to score yet again against a side who can be extremely dangerous going forward and highly vulnerable at the back."
At least four in Bayern win
Bayern Munich v Red Bull Salzburg
Wednesday November 25, 20:00
That Bayern should beat Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday night is pretty much a given.
These are the reigning Champions League champions against a Salzburg side who certainly haven't disgraced themselves this term, but many be a couple of notches below the likes of Bayern and Atletico, the Big Two in the group. They were admittedly soundly beaten by Bayern 6-2 last time out- a clue as to how this one might unfold- but 'only' lost 3-2 at Atletico and secured a 2-2 draw at home to Lokomotiv Moscow.
The problem they have is that Bayern...are Bayern. On a 15-match winning run in the Champions League at the moment, they're hardly a side you want to be playing right now.
Bayern did admittedly draw at the weekend and before that they played four away matches in a row- two in the league, two in the Champions League- winning them all, including that 6-2 win over this lot.
Before that, they won all of their four home games across all competitions and all of them were with at least four goals in the game, testament to the fact that they have one of the strongest attacks in world football.
Given the Bavarians haven't kept a clean sheet in four, Salzburg may help us here by getting one of their own; a Bayern win with at least four goals in it pays 8/11.
Jota to build on away day hat-trick
Liverpool v Atalanta
Wednesday November 25, 20:00
Liverpool are going through a horrific injury crisis that has seen them lose Joseph Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson and Mo Salah, to name but a few.
But one man who seems oblivious to it all is Diogo Jota. There were a few comments about the cost of his transfer fee a couple of months ago, but they've quickly died down in the face of eight goals for his new club so far.
He certainly saved his best performance for Liverpool so far for this very opponent. His hat-trick in Atalanta a month or so ago was an absolute masterclass in the art of cool finishing and he'll have another go at adding to his tally against the same opposition on Wednesday night.
Fresh from another goal at the weekend, a super headed effort this time, he's a good price at 11/10 to score yet again against a side who can be extremely dangerous going forward and highly vulnerable at the back.
Atleti do do what Atleti do best
Atletico Madrid v Zenit
Tuesday November 24, 20:00
This could well be Atletico's strongest season in a while. They've been excellent in La Liga, currently sitting in second, three clear of Real and nine ahead of Barcelona, and have had a pretty mixed set of results in the Champions League. Three games so far have brought a win, a draw and a defeat, the last one a perfectly understandable reverse a Bayern Munich, though the 4-0 scoreline was a bit dramatic.
The explanation for their good start is that they have a much better squad than in previous years. Just as an example, in attack they can choose any two or three from Joao Felix, Angel Correa, Diego Costa and Marcos Llorente.
But it's their defence that they've always been famous for and though it looks a very different one to the back five that brought them so much success when they were making Champions League finals a few years ago, it's a good one nonetheless. They did after all keep a clean sheet at he weekend against Barcelona.
A home win to nil is 8/11 and that will do us just fine.
The treble comes to 6.27.
