Back Liverpool to beat Atletico and Arsenal to beat Napoli on Wednesday

Paul Higham is backing in-form Alexander Isak to score in a 10/34.33 Liverpool win at Anfield, Arsenal to do the job in Naples and a 4/15.00 PSG player prop in Wednesday's Champions League tips.

Barcelona v Feyenoord Tip - Both teams to score in Barca

Four La Liga wins so far, scoring five goals in three of those, has given Hansi Flick's Barca a flying start to the season. They're huge 1/121.08 home favourites to dismantle Feyenoord who've scored 13 goals themselves in an unbeaten start to the campaign.

The Dutch team won't match Barca's firepower but they'll have a great chance to score. Flick's side have averaged 2.9 goals per Champions League game since he took charge, but they've also conceded the most goals (44) in the last two seasons and haven't kept a UCL clean sheet in 15.

There's more than enough evidence to suggest the Dutch side can score.

Stuttgart v Viking Tip - A debut goal for Norwegians

Another big home favourite in Germany with Stuttgart 2/91.22 to beat group stage debutants Viking, who claimed a first Norwegian title since 1991 then upset Dinamo Zagreb in qualifying. The 10/111.00 underdogs are also hard to beat this season with just two defeats in 22 - and that's despite conceding first in their last six games in a row.

Stuttgart haven't been great at the back, with seven of their last 10 European home games seeing both teams score. The over 2.5 stats are overwhelming with eight of Viking's last 10 in Europe and 10 of Stuttgart's last 11 in all competitions seeing three goals or more.

Again we're just peaking over odds against for the underdogs to find the net and again we'll take it.

Liverpool v Atletico Tip - Back in-form Isak in 10/34.33 Reds win

A huge game for Andoni Iraola's Champions League debut at Anfield with a testing familiar old foe for Liverpool arriving in Atletico. The Reds are 8/111.73 and have never lost when starting a campaign in Europe's top competition at home. They've won 17 of the past 18 Champions League group games at Anfield - including a 3-2 win over Atleti last season.

Diego Simeone is in his 14th Champions League campaign with Atletico and, although they're 18/54.60 after a 3-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao at the weekend, they have knocked the Reds out of this at Anfield before. There's more than a hint of niggle between the Argentinian manager and the home crowd here.

This could be anything as modern day Atleti are wide open - they've kept just one clean sheet in 16 UCL games while their last 16 goup matches have averaged over four goals a game. So while Atleti will bring a constant threat, if they remain so open at the back then, with Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo looking sharp, and Bradley Barcola in the squad, the Reds should have too much.

Napoli v Arsenal Tip - Back Gunners to do a job at 15/82.88

Arsenal were great against Chelsea so it's no surprise to see last year's beaten finalists 3/41.75 favourites here. Napoli are big 4/15.00 underdogs in front of their own fans after suffering damaging back-to-back defeats - a bad home loss to Como was followed by throwing away a two-goal lead at Inter.

Their UCL home form looks solid with just two defeats in 21 but they lost to Chelsea last season as part of a poor effort finishing 30th in the league phase, so I wouldn't hold out much hope for them against this powerful Arsenal squad. Back the Gunners for a thoroughly professional and quite comfortable job in Naples.

PSG v Slovan Tip - Back 4/15.00 PSG player prop bet

It's been an iffy domestic start for the back-to-back European champions as they've not managed to win a game yet apart from the Super Cup. But their bid to complete the Champions League hat-trick should get off to a winning start as they're monster favourites at 1/201.05 against Yaya Toure's qualifiers.

Luis Enrique won a massive 63% of his UCL games as a manager and will know getting that first win of the season here can lift his side's fortunes, so expect to see them come out swinging and put away the 50/151.00 Slovakian underdogs with relative ease.

With PSG such big favourites I'd prefer a player prop here, with new signing Ferran Torres the preference to score and show his worth, while Desire Doue should have far too much for the visitors. With three games of 2+ shots on target already, we'll back him for one more against lesser opposition.

Sporting v Galatasaray Tip - 5/23.50 hosts too good

Live on TNT Sports 6 & HBO Max

Surprisingly these two haven't met before, and Sporting are 4/51.80 to win this inaugural meeting having made the UCL quarters last year. Turkish champions Galatasaray are 16/54.20 but have a woeful record of just two wins in 26 Champions League away games - failing to score in 15 of those.

There's plenty of talent in this Gala side but for some reason they just can't put it together on the road and having an injury worry over Victor Osimhen won't help with their toothless away form. Added to Sporting scoring at least twice in five of six home UCL games last season and you have to go for a home win.
