PSV finished 28th in the group stage last year after two straight last-16 appearances so they'll want to do better and four straight wins this season puts them in perfect position to end a run of five straight matchday one defeats in the Champions League.
As 2/51.40 favourites they're well fancied for that rare opening win, with Shakhtar 6/17.00 underdogs after winning just two of 15 away games in the competition. But with both teams scoring in 19 of PSV's last 21 games they're hardly solid at the back, so we should see goals at both ends.
Back PSV win and both teams to score
Fenerbahce v Roma Tip - Hosts to grab a point on big return

Thursday 10 September, 17:45 kick-off
Live on TNT Sports 3 & HBO Max
Surprisingly this is Fenerbahce's first Champions League proper campaign in 18 years, and they needed a six-game qualifying run to get here. They're 12/53.40 underdogs against Roma but Istanbul is always a tough place to go and at home they've lost just five of 32 games in European competition.
Roma are back in the competition after an eight-year hiatus and are 6/52.20 away favourites after a perfect start to their Serie A campaign and a run of eight straight games scoring 2+ goals. Fenerbahce's main threat will come from former Roma striker Romelu Lukaku who has four goals in six games against his former employers.
So there's goals in both sides but given the likely atmosphere on their big return to the competition Fenerbahce should be able to hold their own.

Como v RB Leipzig - Back a Como clean sheet in UCL debut

Live on TNT Sports 3 & HBO Max
Como's remarkable rise shows no signs of slowing down - they're unbeaten in three games in Serie A this season, all away games, and play their first home game of the season as 17/201.85 favourites in their first ever game in European competition.
Cesc Fabregas has led Como's rise on the back of Serie A's best defence last season, but Leipzig bring goals with them after scoring 10 in their three domestic outings so far. Como have conceded in all three games so far as well, but they were all games on the road and their clear plan here will be to keep the back door shut.
Back Como win to nil
Bayern Munich v Bodo/Glimt Tip - Back 7/24.50 Kane double

Live on TNT Sports 2 & HBO Max
Bodo/Glimt beat Man City and Atletico and knocked out Inter in last season's epic Champions League run - beating Bayern in Munich as 20/121.00 underdogs could just top the lot. And having scored 2+ goals in 11 of their past 12 European games, the Norwegians will go down swinging at the Allianz Arena.
So, who knows they could even given Bayern a fright, but it's more likely to be a game full of goals but most of them going Bayern's way as 1/101.10 favourites.
A couple could well go Harry Kane's way after averaging a goal every 74 minutes of UCL football last season, and with Bayern such big favourites here then preference is for a Kane Bet Builder double - where we'll back him to score twice and also be fouled twice.
Back Kane 2+ goals and fouled 2+ times
Man Utd v FC Sabah Tip - Back early goals at Old Trafford

Thursday 10 September, 20:00 kick-off
Live on TNT Sports 1 & HBO Max
It's a nice return to the Champions League for Man Utd who get a home tie first up against Azerbaijani outfit Sabar Baku - who are a whopping 22/123.00 to cause an almighty upset. In truth, the team formed just nine years ago are delighted just to be playing at Old Trafford in their first ever game in the main draw of a European competition.
Michael Carrick will want a fast start so should put out a strong team, and whatever line-up he uses should be far too strong. Benjamin Sesko could be deployed from the start after a goal at Everton as with the Manchester derby coming up at the weekend he could do with United blowing the visitors away early and being able to make changes.
And that's exactly what we'll back, with United odds against to strike twice in the first half.
Back Man United to score 2+ first-half goals
Slavia Prague v Lens Tip - Lens to take a point in Prague

Thursday 10 September, 20:00 kick-off
Live on TNT Sports 5 & HBO Max
Slavia Prague haven't won in 15 main draw European games but they're 31/202.55 home favourites after averaging three goals a game so far this season in an unbeaten start, while Lens have lost their last two in Ligue 1.
Lens haven't won in 13 road games in Europe and with Slavia struggling to score in Europe then we may not get too many goals in Prague. Best bets here looks like backing the draw.
