West Ham shocked by Everton's late show. Joe Dyer reports on a day of drama in the Premier League.
Everton pulled off a dramatic late comeback to break West Ham's hearts at Upton Park today. Trailing 1-0 with less than 10 minutes on the clock, the home team traded at a low of [1.2] on Betfair.
But Everton struck three unanswered goals to shock Gianfranco Zola's men. The Toffees were backed at a high of [75.0] on the exchange to pull off the win when labouring to break down the home defence.
The 3-1 scoreline was backed at [70.0] while four goals or more touched [145.0].
There was more late drama at the Stadium of Light where Portsmouth won with a last-minute Jermain Defoe penalty.
The draw was backed at [1.19], Portsmouth at [15.5] and the 2-1 final score at [21.0].
Arsenal famously started today's home match against Manchester United at their longest ever odds under Arsene Wenger. And they didn't disappoint their backers with a 2-1 win, landing odds of [3.85], with their opponents touching a low of [2.28].
The 2-1 scoreline traded at a high of [17.0].
Hull were backed in to [1.84] to at home to Bolton today but were defeated 1-0. The Wanderers touched a high of [4.6].
Wigan were matched at a low of [1.76] to beat Stoke at the JJB Stadium in the other early kick-off.
