Fulham matched at 36 to win 2-0 and give themselves a lifeline
Manchester City drift to [13.0] before beating Sunderland, Fulham drift on the relegation market and flurry of goals at Pride Park is good for backers of goals
Fulham were matched at odds of [36.0] on Betfair to beat Reading 2-0 and at [5.1] to win the match and have given themselves a chance of avoiding relegation. The West Londoners are still only a [1.16] shot for relegation (having been matched at a low of [1.06]) after fellow relegation strugglers Bolton won and Birmingham drew.
Bolton were matched at [2.3] en route to beating West Ham and are [1.43] for the drop whilst Birmingham salvaged a draw at home to Everton after going 1-0 behind. The Toffees were matched at [1.11] when a goal up with less than 10 minutes left on the clock, at which point the draw was trading at [9.4].
The one team that is definitely relegated - Derby County - didn't do much to convince their fans that they will be returning to the Premiership anytime soon after suffering a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Aston Villa. Though the Villains' victory was never really in doubt and they only ever touched [1.8], the flurry of goals in the match was a little more surprising with 6 goals or more being backed at odds of [20.0].
Manchester City have little to play for at this stage of the season as they sit comfortably in mid-table but their 2-1 win over Sunderland was good news for their in running backers who got odds of [13.0] on Sven's side picking up three points at the Stadium of Light.
