Cash Out and Auto/Partial Cash Out
Cash Out in a nutshell
Cash Out, pioneered by Betfair, allows you to lock in a profit or limit your losses before waiting for the event to finish, at the touch of a button.
How does it work?
Using one click, you can cash out all bets placed on a single market, allowing you to lock in a profit or mitigate your losses.
Betfair also offers partial Cash Out, allowing you to choose exactly how much of the bet you wish to Cash Out while leaving part of your stake to run.
To cash out just part of your bet, open up the slider by selecting Cash Out Part of My Bet in the drop-down list and choose how much you wish to cash out.
The Cash Out icon is displayed for the markets where Cash Out is available. It may not be available at times where there is low liquidity (money) in a market.
Bear in mind that Cash Out amounts are not guaranteed as they are based on the live Betfair markets where prices are constantly moving. This means you may receive more than indicated, or your Cash Out may be unsuccessful or only partially successful.
If a Cash Out is unsuccessful or partially successful then we will offer you a new Cash Out amount based on your revised position and the current prices in the Betfair market.
Any reduction in exposure will be credited back to your account after placing a successful Cash Out bet and any profit made on the market will be paid when the market is settled.

Auto and Partial Cash Out in a nutshell
Betfair has made Cash Out even better by offering customers more ways to use the product.
Auto Cash Out
Following the success of Cash Out, which lets you lock in a profit or limit your losses before a betting event has concluded, Auto Cash Out takes things to another level of betting management by letting you set your profit level.
To set up your Auto Cash Out press the dropdown next to the Cash Out button. You will be given the option to set a profit level at which you would like to Auto Cash Out on a market.
Press the save button and, if your profit in the market hits the Auto Cash Out figure you set, Betfair will automatically Cash Out for you.
If you change your mind, you can remove your Auto Cash Out rule by re-opening the dropdown and pressing the remove button.
Partial Cash Out
Partial Cash Out gives you even more control over your betting. It lets you choose exactly how much of your bet you wish to cash out while leaving part of your stake playing.
To cash out part of your bet, select Cash Out Part of My Bet in the drop-down list and choose the amount you wish to cash out. It's that simple.
