With Warwick gone and claimed by the weather, the options on the All-Weather look unappealing today therefore the Naas card with plenty of runners gives us a chance to go each-way with five places.
The 15:40 looks wide open with 25 runners, but we have the five as mentioned and Ernie From Nurney caught the eye over fences at Thurles last time over 2m5f with the way he travelled.
It was heavy going on that occasion but he moved through the mud nicely, before his effort petered out - down to dare I say; not getting home at the trip.
Previously he had raced over even further, so he's worth a shot back down to 2m today and also the switch to hurdles and they will go a better pace.
Peter Smithers claims 7lb and is his usual rider.
Another huge field but very low grade for the 16:50 and a size of 23 runners with not one rated above 100, so it's basement level.
Lucy Prunella however hasn't had many goes and finished third last time (albeit a mile behind the front two) at 200/1201.00.
The 9yo mare at least showed something last time plugging on, and she could suit the 3m judged on that.
She had a long time off the track at 999 days early in her career, and this will be her handicap debut off 86 today. It's a risky selection but it's a bad race and the new trip off a low mark might enable a better run at double-figure odds.
