Moises Caicedo on verge of joining Chelsea

Moises Caicedo is 1/91.11 on the Betfair Sportsbook to join Chelsea with reports suggesting the Blues are in talks with Brighton over a big-money transfer.

The Seagulls rejected two bids from Arsenal for Caicedo in the January Transfer Window and the 21-year-old has since signed a new contract with the south coast club.

But after losing the likes of Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante from their midfield in the last six months Chelsea are desperate to land Caicedo, meaning he could form part of a midfield duo alongside Enzo Fernandez worth in excess of £200m.

The one possible stumbling block to the transfer is that Brighton are reportedly holding out for at least £100m for Caicedo, but the long odds-on price of 1/91.11 suggest that Chelsea will soon get their man.
