Betting was suspended on Tottenham signing James Maddison after reports he had agreed terms with the club and they were in advance talks with Leicester about a fee.

The news came on the day Bayern Munich made a bid - thought to be worth around 70m euros plus add ons - for Harry Kane.

The German champions are 17/201.85 to sign the England captain but will need to increase their offer if they're persuade Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sell his club's prize asset.

The arrival of Maddison would add creativity to Tottenham's attack and, if Kane stays at Spurs beyond this summer, they could make a promising combination for new manager Ange Postecoglou's side.

Newcastle were interested in signing Maddison but the 26-year-old appears to prefer a move to Tottenham.
