Willem II on form, but don't often win big

Jong Ajax have only suffered four multiple-goal defeats
Willem II v Jong Ajax
Friday 24 February, 19:00
Our man Ciro Immobile drew a blank in Romania last night, although he didn't care, as Lazio squeezed through to the last 16 of the Conference League.
We'll take that particular punch and move on, because Jong Ajax are in action in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, and I think they can keep things close against promotion-chasing Willem II.
Tilburg-based side Willem II are only just outside the promotion playoff zone, and they are on the charge, having taken ten points from their last four games. They were relegated through the playoffs last term, but superbly-named coach Reinier Robbemond is making a fine fist of getting them back into the top division.
However, Willem II don't always win convincingly. They have only won by multiple goals in three of their last 14 second-tier games, and at the Koning Willem II Stadion, they have beaten the -1.5 Asian Handicap line just twice in the last 12.
Jong Ajax are understandably an inconsistent bunch, given that the squad is packed with promising kids. However, they have only lost nine of their 25 league games, and only four of those nine defeats were by a multiple-goal margin. They are capable of going to Tilburg and running the hosts close, and they have only lost three of their last ten on the road.
I'll back Jong Ajax +1.5 on the Asian Handicap here at 1.9420/21.
