Tuesday Football Tips: Get on bookings in Getafe

The 'other' side in Madrid Getafe play host to La Liga champions Atletico hoping to dig their way out of one of the worst starts to a top flight campaign in history.

Only three other sides have lost their first five La Liga games this century and now Getafe need to avoid losing against the defending champions to stop dropping their first six.

Getafe boss Michel is under huge pressure to get at least a point on the board and although they've had some success against Spain's big sides they've not beaten Atletico at home in 10 years.

Atletico are unbeaten in second but are not exactly flying at the moment having played in successive 0-0 draws and hoping to avoid making it three in a row for the first time this century.

And there's not been too many goals in this fixture of late - Atletico incredibly have played their last nine competitive games at Getafe's Coliseum Alfonso Perez stadium without conceding a single goal - with all those nine involving under 2.5 goals.

So we're not expecting too many goals on Tuesday night, with Atletico also missing suspended striker Joao Felix and with Antoine Griezmann having had 17 shots at goal without scoring since returning from Barcelona.

While we're not expecting goals, we should see referee Guillermo Cuadra reaching for his yellow card more often given the disciplinary records of the two sides.

Getafe have been shown 15 yellows and one red in five games this season - but while that's bad enough Atletico are one of just two teams with a worse record as they lead the league with 21 yellows and two reds in their ill-tempered start to the campaign.
