Tuesday Football Tips: Back Eastleigh to double up

It's all about motivation for Tuesday's best bet, with National League promotion play-off chasers Eastleigh having so much more to play for than mid-table outfit Altrincham.

Eastleigh have won six of the last seven to move into promotion contention, and a win here in their game in hand will fire them up into sixth spot and a place in the play-offs with just a game left to play.

Altrincham enjoyed an entertaining 4-3 win on Saturday - but that was against a Yeovil side with also little to play for - while Eastleigh left it very, very late with Joe Tomlinson's 92nd-minute penalty beating Boreham Wood to keep their hopes on track.

The quick turnaround will also be a test of fitness and desire, and Altrincham hardly have any need to push themselves as much as Eastleigh will - knowing that a play-off spot is now in their grasp.

No surprises then to see the visitors as big 1.758/11 favourites to win here and worth including in any accas you can dig out from a night of not that much football.
