We were made to wait until the 90th minute, but our star man Antoine Griezmann eventually delivered, teeing up the winner for Memphis Depay as Atletico squeaked a 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano last night. If Atletico played every day, I think I'd back Griezmann to score or assist every day.
We're on a roll, and Spain has been kind to us, so we'll stay put and take in a capital city derby between Getafe and Real Madrid. On Monday we backed Getafe to pick up more cards than Granada, and it was tight, but they delivered.
Getafe have the worst disciplinary record in La Liga, and uncompromising coach Jose Bordalas is happy to push the boundaries when it comes to his players being physical. The Madrid-based team have picked up by far the most yellow cards in the division this term, and they have racked up nine dismissals.
Interestingly for our purposes, Getafe have brought the fire in their last couple of derbies against Real Madrid. They collected six bookings in the reverse fixture (a game Real won with a stoppage-time strike from Jude Bellingham), and in the derby before that they picked up four cautions.
Real Madrid have been fouled 290 times in the league this season, the sixth-most in La Liga. They are being pushed hard by surprise title rivals Girona, so this isn't a game they can take lightly or coast through.
I'll happily back Getafe to pick up four cards or more on the Sportsbook at 21/202.05.
