Defences could be slayed as Sassuolo head to Sardinia in Serie A tonight, says Tobias Gourlay

Monday 19:45 (Live on TNT Sports 1)

In France last night, Kev's summation of Lyon's season proved to be a wake-up call - and for one man in particular. The falling giants beat Toulouse 3-0 thanks to an Alexandre Lacazette hat trick. Kev gets a week off to decide who to fire up next.

We're starting in Italy, where one of tonight's two Serie A games brings 14th-placed Sassuolo to second-bottom Cagliari. We're hoping to see a few goals.

Cagliari's major problem is at the back. The Sardinians have conceded 14 times across seven appearances at the Unipol Domus since winning promotion back to Serie A last season. They've netted nine in five there themselves, with both teams scoring in 5/5 and 4/5 hitting Over 2.5 Goals.

Sassuolo also have defensive issues. The Neroverdi have managed no clean sheets from 14 Serie A games home and away this season. At the other end, they've scored themselves in 10/12, so BTTS has landed in 10/12 and 8/12 have reached Over 2.5 Goals in total.

Both sides look capable of exploiting each other's weaknesses in defence, so we'll take Over 2.5 Goals to land in this one.
