There are rumours that Neymar could stay at PSG this season, but I'm convinced that there will come a good offer for him before transfer deadline. The player has shown he is unhappy and the club is willing to negotiate for the right price, so there's still a strong chance he will leave.
I expect Neymar and his agent are trying to find solutions to avoid another season in Paris and the club won't want to keep him in his current situation.
I'm confident that club and player will reach an agreement soon that suits both parties, transferring the player to another big European club. The question is, which one? As I've said before, I'd love to see him back at Barcelona.
Madrid defeats are bad sign but they won't panic
Of course, Real Madrid's awful preseason is not good for them, as it's always better to start by winning matches and gaining some confidence.
This is not the perfect start for a club that has made quality signings this summer and has had Zinedine Zidane back in charge since before the end of last season.
That said, we are in the preseason and there is time to make improvements, so it's a little early to get scared. Naturally, it would have been better for Madrid to start with a string of victories.
They need to quickly turn things around to avoid bringing the bad energy into their season proper. After such a poor campaign last year, Madrid fans will expect their club to much stronger this year.
Pogba or Eriksen would be welcome at Real Madrid
The press are saying that Madrid need to reinforce their midfield, with Cristian Eriksen and Paul Pogba among the rumoured targets. Both are excellent players and would fit well at the Bernabeu.
In spite of their bad preseason, I'm not sure that Madrid need reinforcements. Critics of Madrid's midfield should not forget that Casemiro is only returning to the team now after injury, so they have been playing without their starting defensive midfielder and one of the most important players.
Madrid will improve with Casemiro back in the squad, although his absence doesn't explain their awful preseason.
Community Shield is not a barometer for new season
Liverpool 4.03/1 and Manchester City 1.981/1 play this Sunday in the Community Shield and many people are excited to watch this clash between the two best teams in the Premier League.
As you can see from the odds, the Premier League champions are firm favourites. But I don't think this match will help us to reach any conclusions about what might happen in the new season.
To lift a trophy against a rival at the start of season is a boost to the winner, but it's still early to form opinions about the teams, as there are many players still searching for fitness after their holidays. Others are still returning after delayed holidays due to international commitment.
I expect Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola will use their best players, even if some are not yet in their best form, so no matter who's going to win on Sunday. It will certainly be an excellent match. The winner would take some extra confidence, but not more than that.
It could be Gabriel Jesus year
Gabriel Jesus is full of confidence after a successful Copa America campaign for Brazil and looking forward to regaining his place in Manchester City's first team.
He lost his place to Sergio Aguero last season, but I believe Jesus has the ability to be a starter in any team. The morale and confidence that he is bringing from Copa America could help him to become a regular starter and scorer for the Citizens this season.
Fred must stake his claim to be first choice at United
Things haven't been easy for Fred at Manchester United and some people say he should find another club. But I disagree with that.
He is a good player who needs to be patient and keep working hard to earn a starting position in the United midfield.
I don't think leaving would solve his problems, and it would be preferable to stay and keep fighting for his place.
