Salah is Liverpool's all-time top score against Man Utd

Last weekend this column tipped a winning Bet Builder at longer odds than 8/1 so let's see if we can find another from Nottingham Forest v Everton and Liverpool v Man Utd this Sunday...

Nottm Forest v Everton: Toffees unstuck again

Sunday 14:00

Everton have lost both of their away league games under Sean Dyche to nil. Going further back, they are also winless in their last eight Premier League games against promoted sides (D3 L5). On top of this, they have lost 13 of their last 17 Premier League games on a Sunday (W3 D1).

Is there anything in there favour for this trip to the City Ground? They have won on their last two visits there. However, the most recent of those was in 1998, so the more recent stats are the pertinent ones.

Forest are unbeaten in their last eight League home games (W4 D4) so they are building something a fortress beside the Trent. They only failed to score in one of their 12 there this season.

With the Toffees scoring just two in five under Dyche - and both goals coming at Goodison Park - a bet on Forest appeals. Morgan Gibbs-White has been involved in five goals in his last six home league games (2 goals, 3 assists) so we'll back the Forest man to be in the mix.

Liverpool v Man Utd: Salah to strike in draw

Sunday, 16:30, Live on Sky Sports

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six home league games against United (W3 D3) and last season did the double of their fierce rivals with a 9-0 aggregate score.

But United kickstarted their season by beating Liverpool at Old Trafford in August. More recently, they have lost just one of their last 11 Premier League games (W8 D2), going down 3-2 at Arsenal in January.

Since the the World Cup break, no side has won more points than United. But they took a while to get going against West Ham in the Cup in midweek and had to come from 1-0 down to win 3-1 in the second-half. The pressure of chasing an 80/1 quadruple may catching up with them.

And yet it is still difficult to go against Liverpool at home. For all that they have been inconsistent this season, they have still only lost once here all season (a 2-1 reverse against Leeds).

Mo Salah is Liverpool's all-time highest goalscorer against United in all competitions with 10 goals. Nine of those strikes have come in his last five appearances against them, with the Egyptian netting in every match in that run. He scored in midweek against Wolves and we will back him to continue his Mo-momentum against United.
