In recent years, City were famous for racking up points as they went on astonishing winning runs en route to their Premier League titles. In 2018, they finished the season with a record 100 points.
The guilty verdicts now mean that they could be deducted points and Betfair have opened markets on the possibility. City have started this season well, winning five out of five games, but they are 5/23.50 to be deducted points for the 2026/27 campaign.
They are 7/42.75 to be deducted points for next season - a penalty which would hurt whichever division they were playing in.
