Listen to Football...Only Bettor Arsenal v Chelsea preview
Manchester United come into matchday 28 in a position that seemed unthinkable for much of the season. They are fourth in the Premier League and 8/151.53 to finish in the top four. Under caretaker manager Michael Carrick they have five wins in six league matches - the outlier was the 1-1 draw at West Ham - and another three points here would be an important step on the road to returning to the Champions League.

Carrick comes up against Oliver Glasner - the Palace boss who is 5/16.00 to be in charge of United next season - and it will be fascinating to see the two pit their tactical wits. Palace's season nosedived before Christmas, with Glasner criticising the club's board and revealing that he is leaving at the end of the season, but they have won two of their last three in the league, including a 1-0 win at Brighton their most recent Premier League away day.
The Eagles were in action on Thursday night in the Europa Conference League and United will hope their extra three days of rest count.
Bet #1 - Back Carrick's men to Win to Nil
The Stat
Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has won all four of his home league games in charge (one in 2021, three in 2026) - only Frank O'Farrell has won his first five home games in charge of the Red Devils, doing so in 1971 (won first six). Since taking over in January, Carrick has won two of his three home games to nil.
The Bet
Back Man United to win to nil
Bet #2 - Back hosts to lead at the interval and win
The Stat
Manchester United have picked up 27 points in their last 12 home Premier League matches (W8 D3 L1) - 16 more then they managed in their previous 13 games at Old Trafford (11 - W3 D2 L8).
The stadium may be becoming a fortress again and, in their last two in the league at home, they were ahead at the break and full-time.
The Bet
Bet #3 - Back Sesko to strike again
The Stat
Benjamin Sesko has netted five goals in six league games for Manchester United since the departure of Ruben Amorim, averaging a goal every 37 minutes in this run. Heading into MD28, no player has more non penalty goals in the Premier League in 2026 than the Slovenian (5).
