"Each of Real Sociedad's last 12 appearances at Anoeta have brought Over 2.5 Goals"

A late collapse by AC Horsens cost us in Denmark last night. Losing 0-1 with seven minutes to go, they conceded three further times to go down 0-4 and take our goals bet with them.
Today we're popping up in Spain, where this week brings a full midweek round of La Liga. Our focus is Real Sociedad's home match with newly promoted Rayo Vallecano. The hosts are in charge of one of La Liga's strongest trends: each of their last 12 appearances at Anoeta have brought Over 2.5 Goals. At 1.8810/11, we're ready to back another high scorer this evening.
Sociedad's opening home game of the new season - and their first under new boss Asier Garitano - brought a 1-2 defeat to Barcelona. The Basques took an early lead and showed attacking dare and flair against the champions. They didn't take anything from the game, but we will take heart that they looked a lot like the side that scored 25 times in winning seven of their final eight home matches last season.
Rayo Vallecano are yet to set the top flight alight. Their first two home matches have brought 1-4 and 1-5 defeats. They notched their first win last time out on the road (1-0 at Huesca). They've scored in 3/4 matches so far and should fancy their chances against a Sociedad side that have managed clean sheets in only 5/20 home games. At the other end, Vallecano clearly have frailties of their own, so we're running with the idea that Sociedad can make it 13 high scorers in a row at Anoeta.
