La Liga champions Barcelona travel to Osasuna this afternoon and Tobias Gourlay thinks they could get hurt
Osasuna v Barcelona
Saturday 16:00
Only one defence was truly harassed in Helsingborgs last night. The hosts beat Ostersunds 2-0 to sink our BTTS bet. We're looking to refloat in Spain this afternoon.
La Liga champions Barcelona have won one and lost one of their first two games of the new campaign. They followed up a 0-1 defeat at Athletic Bilbao with a 5-2 home win over Real Betis. The common denominator across those games is Barca's inability to keep a clean sheet. Going back into the depths of the season before last, Ernesto Valverde's men have conceded in 16/24 away games, including six of the most recent nine. They conceded at least twice in four of those last nine.
Osasuna have returned to the Spanish top-flight for the first time since 2016/17, but should fancy their chances of at least nabbing a goal. Last season's Segunda Division champions were also its top scorers. In 2017, Barcelona came to El Sadar and won 7-1. The Catalans might be missing too many important attackers (Messi, Suarez) to repeat that result, but they could certainly concede again, so we'll take the odds-against price on BTTS.
