Football Bet of the Day: Ponferradina to party in Malaga

In France last night, we started our year on the right foot. Lorient took a 6th-minute lead and Caen struck back with a 16th-minute penalty to land BTTS early, with the hosts eventually winning 2-1.

Today we're in Spain for one of the four matches from the country's second-tier Segunda Liga. Sixteenth-placed Malaga have drawn half of their 22 league games this season and they might have to share the goals with 10th-placed Ponferradina tonight.

Malaga are W2-D6-L2 at the Rosaleda this term, having lost only to the teams now first and second in the table. However, the Anchovies have conceded at least once in 7/10 of those matches and we're willing to back BTTS at an odds-against price for their clash with Ponferradina.

The visitors are W2-D4-L4 on the road this term, having failed to keep a single clean sheet. We expect them to concede again today, but we also fancy they can score themselves - having done so in 7/10 away matches so far this season.
