Football Bet of the Day: Finnish on a high

In Finland yesterday, RoPS went to Lahti and won 2-1 to land our BTTS bet. We're sticking around our new favourite Nordic country today.

This afternoon's Veikkausliiga match sees fifth-placed Honka travel to two-time reigning champions HJK Helsinki. Since 2014, both teams have scored in 5/6 head-to-heads and we're hoping for more goals today.

HJK are running fourth in the current campaign and that's partly because their defence has not been what it was in recent seasons. At the Telia 5G Arena this season, BTTS has been the right bet in 5/6 league matches.

Honka have scored in 18/22 away games since the start of last term. Oddly, the games in which they've failed to score have all come against sides in the bottom third of the league (9th-12th). This term they've already scored four times across two visits to the sides now in second and third. A trip to HJK should not hold the same fear for them that it holds for others and we fancy they can contribute to an entertaining game this afternoon.
