Bet 1: Back Tottenham to beat Leicester at 5/2

A draw is not an option for either of these sides on Sunday and I fancy Tottenham could benefit from a more open game.

Spurs were poor against Villa in midweek but this fixture is likely to present a different tactical challenge as Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has already stated that his side will be going all out for the victory they desperately need.

That could give the visitors the chance to play on the break, and with Jonny Evans unlikely to be available for the Foxes, there will be opportunities for a Spurs side that has played with more freedom under Ryan Mason than they did for Jose Mourinho. This could be a tense thriller and I'm siding with Tottenham to edge it.

Bet 2: Back Pretty Gorgeous to win the Irish 1,000 Guineas at 9/4

Joan Of Arc was an impressive winner of the Irish 1,000 Guineas trial earlier this month and is likely to attract plenty of support ahead of Sunday's big race, but I will be siding with her main rival Pretty Gorgeous.

Admittedly, Joan Of Arc will have a fitness edge, having run three times this season, but there is nothing in her form to match that of Pretty Gorgeous.

Joseph Patrick O'Brien's three-year-old signed off in 2020 by winning the Fillies' Mile, following up a close second in the Moyglare, another Group One contest. The trip and going will be no problem, and with the possibility that she has improved with age, Pretty Gorgeous looks a good bet here.

Bet 3: Back Everton to beat Manchester City at 13/2

Manchester City's form has dipped in recent weeks, as their attention understandably shifts to the Champions League and Everton can take full advantage this weekend.

After going 19 games unbeaten, City have lost four of their last ten in the Premier League, and two of their last three. In between defeats to Chelsea and Brighton, the champions were also well-matched by Newcastle in a 4-3 thriller.

Sunday's visitors to the Etihad have not been a reliable betting proposition this season but under pressure in midweek, they secured an important win against Wolves and with victory here potentially enabling them to sneak into the Europa Conference League next season, they should be fully motivated for the three points.
