NTT20 Saturday Football Acca: Jack can star in 20/1 League One treble

Rotherham boss Paul Warne
Paul Warne's Rotherham are fancied to beat Oxford on Saturday

"The Millers’ comfortable 2-0 win away at Ipswich in midweek was both impressive and unsurprising - Paul Warne’s side are the best team in League One."

It's a League One special for the NTT20 Podcast team this week as they bring us three selections for a combined 20/1 treble...

Rovers Woes To Continue

Burton v Doncaster
Saturday, 15:00

Doncaster Rovers' record away from home is the worst in English football. Ten games played, one point earned, and just three goals scored in that time. And things aren't improving. Add to that a huge list of absentees through injury and suspension, a lack of defensive options and a massive crisis of confidence - this doesn't bode well for Donny.

Burton's recent form has been underwhelming, but a 4-0 thumping of a poor Accrington side should give them confidence. They remain a large threat from set pieces, and the individual quality of Daniel Jebbison, Jonny Smith and Harry Chapman gives them a serious threat. If Doncaster's performance level is true to recent away form, Burton should have more than enough to get past them.

Back Burton to beat Doncaster at 3/4

Oxford's Millers Warne-ing

Oxford v Rotherham
Saturday, 15:00

The Millers' comfortable 2-0 win away at Ipswich in midweek was both impressive and unsurprising - Paul Warne's side are the best team in League One.

They've won eight of their last 11 games, drawing the other three. The performance levels that Rotherham are achieving in every game so far are incredibly high, and crucially they are repeatable. Their intensity with and without the ball is so consistent and so difficult for teams to deal with.

Oxford United have had a rollercoaster week. After suffering a COVID outbreak that scuppered their game vs Wigan last Saturday, a heavily-reduced squad managed a home win against a Fleetwood side that put up next to no opposition. A few of the dozen absentees may return here, but many will still be sidelined.

From an easy fixture to the hardest of the lot. Oxford have a strong home record but their Achilles heel in the last 18 months has been games against the top teams in League One, and Rotherham's intensity should prove too much for them.

Back Rotherham to beat Oxford at 19/20

Jack the Lad to notch for Dons

AFC Wimbledon v Fleetwood Town
Saturday, 15:00

Jack Rudoni is a goal-scoring attacking midfielder, arguably Wimbledon's number one goal threat: in the last five matches he has had twice as many shots as any of his teammates, scoring one and being thwarted by some great saves.

Fleetwood's performance level may improve slightly after the sacking of Simon Grayson, but they've conceded two goals a game away from home on average - Wimbledon have scored two or more in four of their eight home games so far.

Rudoni gets into the box, is a threat from range and has recently been getting on the end of a lot of set pieces as well. He's a great price to score anytime against leaky opposition.

Back Jack Rudoni to score anytime at 5/1
