"Lyngby have won all four of their league games, and all four matches have featured at least three goals."
We're taking in a game in Denmark tonight, and Kev's backing a table-topper to beat a team that hasn't yet claimed any points.
League leaders to shine
Lyngby v Fremad Amager
Wednesday 18 August, 17:00
It's Murphy's Law that if you put two selections up, but only headline one, the one you didn't headline will be the one that lands. I suggested there'd be plenty of goals in last night's DFL Supercup in Germany, and Bayern's 3-1 win at Borussia Dortmund duly obliged. While the Over 3.5 Goals bet landed, my top selection of O2.5 and Erling Haaland to score was denied by a combination of an offside flag and the brilliance of Bayern's number one Manuel Neuer.
With a slight sense of injustice, we move to Denmark, because the second-tier leaders Lyngby face struggling Fremad Amager, and there's a way to secure a healthy profit if form holds.
Lyngby were relegated from the top-division Superliga last term, and they have quickly adjusted to life at a lower level. The Royal Blues have won all four of their matches in the league, and they won 9-0 at Osterbro in the Danish Cup. All of their games so far have featured at least three goals.
Fremad Amager ended up eighth in the second tier last term, and they are yet to get off the mark. They have lost all four of their games so far in the league, and the last three of those losses have seen an Over 2.5 Goals bet land.
There has been at least one first-half goal in all four of Lyngby's league matches, and all four of Fremad Amager's, so I'm going to use the Sportsbook's Bet Builder (see offer below) to combine Over 0.5 First Half Goals, Over 2.5 Match Goals and a Lyngby win at 1.84/5.
