Football Bet of the Day: Turkey to trounce Lithuania

We're back into international football today for Lithuania's Nations League C trip to Turkey. A week ago, the Crescent Stars won the reverse fixture 6-0 and we reckon they could enjoy themselves on home turf tonight.

Turkey have won their first three group games by a combined 12-0. As well as thrashing Lithuania, they bested the Faroes 4-0 at home and went to Luxembourg (the group's second best team so far) and won 2-0.

Lithuania are bottom of the four-team group, having lost 3/3 so far. Last time out, they lost 2-1 in the Faroes. Turkey are a step up and we don't expect them to make it. Last year, they lost 4/4 World Cup qualifiers away from home - all without scoring. At an odds-against price, we'll take Turkey to win by at least three goals in this one.
