Stefano Pioli will hope to help his Milan side beat Jose Mourinho's Roma on Sunday

Sunday night sees A massive clash in the Italian capital as leaders look to keep pace with Napoli at the top of the table. This could well be a battle of contrasting styles between AS Roma and AC Milan, both seeking a victory in a tense encounter at the Stadio Olimpico.

Serie A continues with an exciting round of action, and Chloe Beresford is back with another three selections for the upcoming matches in Italy's top flight...

Toro too strong

Torino v Sampdoria
Saturday October 30, 19:45
Live on BT Sport 1

There is no doubt the Sampdoria defence is struggling, the Genoa based side having seen over 2.5 goals each of their last eight games in Serie A. They have conceded at least three goals in five of their last six matches, managing just one draw and four defeats in those encounters.
Next opponents Torino have seen over 2.5 goals in their last four home matches against Sampdoria in all competitions, but have been defending well recently. Only three Serie A teams have conceded fewer than the 11 allowed by the Granata backline, but only Salernitana and Venezia have scored fewer goals.

With all that in mind, the tip here is to back Torino to win and under 2.5 goals, a market that is currently available at odds of 5.04/1.

A Viola victory

Fiorentina v Spezia
Sunday October 31, 14:00
Live on BT Sport 2

Having kept Spezia in Serie A last season, Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano will be looking to pour on the misery for his old side when they visit the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday. Spezia sit 17th and have failed to win 12 of their last 13 away matches, while not managing to find the net in 11 of those games.

They have also conceded a league-high 15 goals in just five away games this season, a perfect opponent for a Fiorentina side seeking to bounce back from their midweek loss to Lazio. Italiano's boys have looked much sharper in attack, so the tip here is to back Fiorentina to win to nil at odds of 2.8815/8.

Contrasting styles in Capital clash

AS Roma v AC Milan
Sunday October 31, 19:45
Live on BT Sport 1

Sunday night sees A massive clash in the Italian capital as AC Milan look to keep pace with Napoli at the top of the table. This could well be a battle of contrasting styles as the Rossoneri have scored at least two goals in 26 of their last 30 away matches in Serie A, and have claimed victory in each of their last six games.

Meanwhile Roma have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven home matches and are undefeated in their last nine outings at the Stadio Olimpico. So, armed with that knowledge, the tip here is to back under 2.5 goals, a market available at 2.26/5.
