Juve to make it two from two

Juventus were convincing winners in their campaign opener against Sassuolo, with one of their new signings, Angle Di Maria opening the scoring.

Tonight they travel to Genoa to take on Sampdoria, with the hosts having already been beaten at home this season. They lost 0-2 to Atalanta last week, and they only finished 15^th in Serie A last term.

Massimiliano Allegri's men beat Sampdoria three times last season, with the aggregate scoreline being 10-4. It's hard to see that kind of trend not continuing here.

United to offer little resistance against rivals

You would have got good money on Liverpool and Man United being winless prior to this match, especially as they have played Fulham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Brentford, respectively.

The performances have been vastly contrasting though, with Jurgen Klopp's side having performed well on the underlying numbers. They just need to be a bit more clinical in attack and tighten up a touch at the back.

The latter issue should be helped by Joe Gomez coming in for Nat Phillips at Old Trafford, and it would appear that Roberto Firmino is fit again to replace the suspended Darwin Nunez.

United are in disarray, and they need new signings urgently. Erik ten Hag will have to pick from the same set of players for tonight's match.

Liverpool did the double over United last season, winning 4-0 at home and 0-5 away, and it just doesn't appear that the Red Devils will be able to rouse themselves for any game at present.

Double G's won't produce double goals

Girona are back in the Spanish top flight for the first time in three years, but they were beaten in their opening La Liga match at Valencia. A 1-0 away defeat isn't a terrible result though, but they will hope to better that tonight.

That is because they are entertaining Getafe, although entertaining might be a bit misleading. The visitors also failed to find the net last weekend, as they were beaten 0-3 at home by Atletico Madrid.

Quique Sánchez Flores' side could only finish 15^th last year, and they were the second lowest scorers in the division. They did however have the eighth best defensive record.
